Walked into the bodega and asked
What it is: The story goes that you can find almost anything in a bodega (or if you're not from NYC, a convenience store). In this trend, Twitter users are sharing the most unrealistic and impossible things to buy while saying they indeed find them in a bodega. From a bag of teeth to a ball of uranium, this trend is all about celebrating the weird things that some convenience stores carry and then taking them to the next level.
How brands can jump in: You can do literally anything for this trend. Just start with "walked into a bodega and asked" and then write whatever you asked for. This could be a fun time to mention a product your audience has been wanting you to release (or bring back), lightheartedly make fun of yourself, or mention a product/service that you know can't ever happen but you still dream about. The most unrealistic, the better! So have fun!

Urgency level: Hot. This trend started on Twitter two days ago and although it's still going it is best to jump in now before the Twitter-verse moves on.

What it is: A Gradient Design Experiment by motion design artist Sahej Singh.
Why we love it: Gradients are still alive!! This style has been trending across graphic design and social for some time now. Adding gradients to backgrounds can be a very whimsical way to bring in color, depth, and movement, as well as keep the audience’s eyes on the content longer. The versatility of this trend makes it a great tool for learning new techniques- like adding motion and simple shapes in the example above.
