#Coachella: The lineup for Coachella 2023 has been released. The headliners include Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, and Frank Ocean.
How brands can jump in: You can leverage this trend by mentioning the artists (Frank Ocean is also trending on Twitter), sharing your Coachella fit, or jumping in on existing trends around the topic.
#iHeartAwards: iHeartRadio Music Awards announced its 2023 nominees, including Doja Cat, Taylor Swift, and Harry Styles.
How brands can jump in: Twitter users are already voting and banding together to promote their favorite artists. If your brand is a music fan, jump in on the conversation with your fans or promote your favorite artist(s)!
#Velma: Mindy Kaling's Velma trailer is out, and fans are already reviewing it.
How brands can jump in: You don't need to mention the trailer to participate in this trend. You can leverage it by referencing Scooby Doo, whether it be iconic lines or characters.

Something not that chill happened last night.
What it is: This trend uses Jonah Hill's line from the film “This is the End,” where he says, "Something, um, not that chill happened last night." TikTok users are taking this sound and adding it to text stories about something (yep, you guessed it), not that chill. "Not chill" events include crazy dreams, getting in trouble at school, or not being able to sleep because of true crime.

How brands can jump in: Be aware that this sound features Jonah Hill! We recommend creating your version of the sound and mentioning something "not chill" about your brand. If your brand has a sale/promo coming to an end, this audio can bring a sense of urgency and drive a CTA for your customers.

Urgency level: Warming up! This trend hasn't hit its peak, yet. It has evergreen potential.

Social Omnivores
What it is: More people are becoming “social omnivores." They don't eat meat at home, but are willing to when out with friends and family. While it is hard to quantify this trend, some evidence states that more people are eating less meat. A 2020 Gallup poll states that 1 in 4 Americans made some attempt to eat fewer animal products during the previous year. The social omnivore trend also points to people embracing labels. Although labels may feel reductive, they can ultimately help create a community around a movement.
What we can learn: Different environments yield different behaviors. Think about what this can mean for your brand. How are customers using your products at home compared to them being outside? Studying the behavior of your customers is key! 🔑
