SOTU: Last night was the State of the Union address and Twitter has MUCH to discuss.
What brands should know: This discussion is taking over the trending topics this morning. This is not a recco to act, just a heads up that the political conversation is bountiful today.

if your main circle isn't discussing
What it is: Users are taking to several formats/platforms to share a list of items that your "main circle" should be discussing. The advice is modeled after real posts that users began to satirize. Now, the lists contain joking items that your group "must be" talking about. Otherwise, it's time to dump 'em!
How brands can jump in: What's your target demo? Put it down and add some topics relevant to your brand. Comment on the smell of your product, the visual appeal of your storefront, or maybe the way your service makes buyers feel - but draw attention to unique aspects of each that make the joke land harder. Be weird! This trend is built on satire.
Examples: 1, 2, 3
Urgency level: The meme has come and gone, so it's pretty evergreen - just with a slight resurgence at the moment.
