Messi's World Cup: Aside from general celebratory posts of the World Cup, the soccer star is trending today as his Instagram post celebrating his victory is now the most liked Instagram post in history, surpassing the infamous egg
What Brands Should Know: The Egg post held that spot for such a long time and had an incredible social impact. We knew the day would come that a celebrity would surpass the egg in likes, but it is interesting that it took 3-4 years for this to happen.
Packers: Twitter is buzzing with conversation about the Green Bay Packers' win against the Los Angeles Rams from last night. The team as well as the fans hope a third victory is in their future with an upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins that could potentially lead them to the playoffs.
How brands can jump in: If your brand has consistently shown up in the NFL space or specifically in conversations about the Green Bay Packers, you might want to join in the celebrations as long as you don't directly mention any team/league names.

Conversational Carousel
What it is: In this trend, TikTok users are utilizing the carousel function to play out conversations with their friends. The carousel typically starts with one person proposing to the other that they should go do an activity (ex: go to the store) and proceeds to show the sequence of events that follows. Paired with comedic imagery, especially images shot in the iPhone 0.5x lens, this trend proves to be gaining traction across all different TikTok communities.
How brands can jump in: Does your brand have a physical location or imagery such as a mascot? This could be a fun opportunity to showcase these assets in a new format!
Examples: 1, 2, 3
Urgency level: Warm! This is a new feature but expect constant innovation from users that experiments with how the feature is being used for content
Who they are: Timm Chiusano is a well-known TikTok creator that popularized a day-in-the-life video format. He grasps the viewers attention with 90-second witty motivational bits that showcase his family, friends, and work. He shares brutally honest moments in shortform content and TikTokers have recently showcased their version of Timm's vlogs opening up deeper truths about themselves.
Why we love them: We love Timm for his consistency, and while the recommendation for brands is that they diversify their feed, Timm shows us the value in through-lines in production and sonic identity (mentioned further here). Consider learning from Timm as you work to establish your brands story on social.
