Renaissance is Coming: Beyoncé announced that her new album is dropping next month and no one is ready.
How brands can jump in: If any artist dropping an album is a cultural moment it's Bey. Whether you're in the Beyhive or not, this'll dominate the internet today. Because it's so culturally open, it's a great topic to try and jump in with your excitement and anticipation whether you promote music, food, movies, or apparel. Bonus points if you can find a playful tie-in directly to your brand.
#WhatIFoundInMyAttic: People are sharing the serious things they've found in their attic along with some humorous things you may expect to find, or would be horrified to find.
How brands can jump in: This one is all over the map from people sharing funny things, scary things, memes, and even using it as an excuse to make a political statement. Know your brand and where you stand and you'll be able to join the fun in an appropriate way.
Ryan Gosling as Ken: A first look at the Oscar-nominated actor in Greta Gerwig's Barbie dropped and people have THOUGHTS.
How brands can jump in: If your brand loves movies, toys, or discussing bleached hair and questionably real abs, have at it! People are thirsty and comedic about this first look so make sure you walk the right line of humor in your reaction.

Put a Finger Down Challenge is Back 🖐
What it is: Everyone is starting their tweets with "Put a finger down..." then finishing with something humorous, embarrassing, traumatic, or relatable. A spin on the classic "never have I ever" that's migrated from Tiktok to Twitter. Social media does love going back for Round 2 on a trend.
How brands can jump in: Get your Twitter thumbs ready, this one is for everyone. Finding a way in for any brand shouldn't be a challenge, just find a humorous way to connect it to your brand, your brand's personality, or your brand's reputation in culture. Keep in mind that the general trend this round seems to be more focused on putting a finger down for moody or sad things you've done. Get that sad girl humor on lock and you're good to go!
Examples: 1, 2, 3
Urgency level: While this trend is back on the feeds you should jump in. It will probably last a few more days, but better to get in on the action before people are bored of the trauma dumping. 😅

What it is: McDonald's is offering limited edition Tufts. This was a great merch-move for the brand, as unique and trendy tufts started to take off during the pandemic and are still very popular.
Why we love it: Finding new ways to bring product into the home should always be top of mind for brands. Moving beyond apparel merch for a more exclusive or limited run is a great move for our MDLZ brand cult-followers. Fun and unique rugs are a prime example on how to capitalize on a cultural trend.

Netflix is launching a Squid Game reality show for an absurd sum of money and I can't help but wonder if they...missed the point of the show. 🤔
These foster kitty siblings are the only thing getting me through to Friday.
Blue Ivy went to the game and I'm shook at how much she simultaneously looks like Beyonce and Jay-Z. 👀
