stranger things transition parody
What it is: A popular transition featuring Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things is letting users show before and afters. The trend has become so prevalent that now it's ripe for parody. In the original, Finn walks towards the camera with a green-screened image/video of the "before" thing. As he gets closer, he stops and snaps his finger, and the background changes to the "after." Users are starting to create their own Finn walk, either walking toward the camera with a green screen or snapping their fingers in their own environments.
How brands can jump in: Brands can hint at this trend with their mascot or creator walking towards the camera and snapping their fingers so that the background changes from a before to an after.
Examples: 1, 2, 3
Urgency level: Hot! The original trend is fading so the parody won't last much longer.
