This one is for awareness, but is another example in brands bowing to homophobia and conservatism as we saw with Bud Light. We'll see if they reverse course or if any action is taken to mitigate the damage now done to their LGBTQ+ community.

What it is: The great, iconic, Kylie Minogue has released a new song called Padam Padam. Naturally, it's catchy and stuck in everyones head. As Kylie is a gay icon, the LGBTQ+ community has taken over social with memes referencing the catchy chorus that begins with her saying "Padam" followed by a long pause and then a "Padam?" before she goes all in. People are inserting this over scenes of two people interacting in a way that feels humorous but also insider-y.
How brands can jump in: This one is easy to reference the word Padam in meme form or text. Just steer clear or mentioning Kylie specifically or using any imagery of her and the video. Do you have mascots that are talking to audience? They can say Padam...Padam. Do you want to reference how the song is stuck in your head? Make a joke about not being able to focus because all you can think is Padam.
