Yassified to maintain anonymity
What it is: Comedian Michelle Collins posted a photo of a woman in an airport using her own personal tube of mayo - which is weird as it is - but the main draw of the tweet is that she ran the photo through a face editing app and "yassified" the woman by adding makeup, hairstyle, etc to the photo so that she is no longer recognizable, thus providing her anonymity. The wording took off and became a trend of its own.
How brands can jump in: Does your brand have a character that wears glam? Can your brand's mascot be run through FaceTune? There's a way in if there's a will to be in! Get to yassifying.
