#QueenRadio: If you don't know, now ya know... Queen Radio is Nicki Minaj's popular show on Amazon's new streaming app, Amp. Launched in 2019, Minaj has sat down with artists like 50 Cent & Chance the Rapper. Why the trending tag? Nicki is receiving love for her support of Ariana Grande, news of her new record label Heavy On It, & major buzz over the drop of her 'Princess Diana' remix with Ice Spice.
How brands can jump in: Does your brand have devoted Barbz? If so, a vague tweet or visual could help nod their love. Just make sure not to infringe on IP!
#SnowFallFX: Snowfall is FX Network's drama series inspired by the early days of the 1980s LA crack cocaine epidemic. The show's character Franklin played by Damson Idris is gaining a ton of traction with many on Twitter sharing their differing opinions of the last episode.
What brands can consider: Brands, DEFINITELY stay away from anything drug-related. Major red flag. BUT, there could be something with a nod to the 1980s. We're in nostalgia's prime, so channeling the 80s could be a fun way to integrate your brand into this trend without connecting yourself to the show's racy topic.
Ganondorf & Zelda: Trending in the Fantasy Game space is both Ganondorf & Zelda after Nintendo dropped a trailer of Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
How brands can jump in: For brands with hardcore gamers, here's your opportunity to hint at their love for all things fantasy. The key, again, is not to infringe on IP so vague gesturing will do just fine.
Where Branding Meets Style & Decor
What it is: With many brands wanting to stand out while simultaneously exciting & inspiring their current fanbases, a common trend has been this extension into the clothing & home decor realm. Brands like Nerds Candy are working with creators to transform their rooms with the colors of their Gummy Clusters or inspire full outfits. Other brands like Pop-Tarts have cleverly released a line of Pop-Tartigan Cardigans to allow their fans to manifest & own their 'Grandma Era.' This craze stems from videos populating TikTok that focus on rooms/outfits "inspired by ____." Whether it be channeling the 'Vanilla Girl' in your space or the 'fits from your favorite franchise, people are having fun playing with their personal taste in line with their guilty pleasures (think food, tv, & movies).
How brands can jump in: Brands, this is a PRIME opportunity to inspire your fans to include your product in their day-to-day. Drop an outfit-inspo video that uses your brand colors... Showcase how one's living space can emulate that your fan is a true brand stan. Let your creative flag fly and look to enter a space opposite your industry, especially if you're food/drink.
Examples: 1, 2, 3
Urgency level: This feels relatively evergreen given that home decor & fashion will never go out of style. Use the longevity of this trend, however, to make some content ~now~ and get your fans talking. Hey, it may inspire brand merch that'll get the internet talking.

A new study that analyzed data from beer review sites found that when it comes to craft breweries, beers with names that would typically elicit *negative emotions* have stronger consumer appeal. In other words, bad names do best.
