oh no I have [assignment] due at 11:59
What it is: In this trend, users are building tweets like "[type of student] students be like oh no I have [type of assignment] due at 11:59" where the type of student is an adapted area of study and the type of assignment is something applicable to that area of study. Tweets have been all over the board - innocent all the way to feisty.

What it is: Creator pay gaps are drawing more and more attention as the creator economy grows. TikTok has been under fire lately for underpaying its creators, which arguably creates the backbone of the app's mission. YouTube Shorts has promised to pay its creators 45% of incoming ad revenue to creators based on their share of views - considerably more than TikTok creators are seeing. This could lead to a migration of creators and change the landscape of TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts - we'll see how this plays out.
What we can learn: Following the creators may be an integral part of social strategy. Keeping an eye on where these individuals go as pay rates change/fluctuate could be extremely vital to keeping your brand team's effort aimed at the right audience. Watch these stories and see what becomes of them - you don't want your brand to end up on an app with no creators.
