How brands can jump in: If your brand is associated with, enjoys, or can joke about hotdogs and consuming them, this one is ripe for the picking.
Alt Text Makes Twitter More Accessible
What it is: Alt Text provides descriptive text to a photo on social media to assist blind, partially sighted, and neurodivergent individuals who use screen reader software. This allows users to hear a description of the image. Alt text has been a feature on Twitter for years, but just recently the platform started prompting users to include it more frequently on images.
How brands can jump in: Inclusivity matters! Creating screen reader accessibility by describing the images your brand is posting helps to keep your visually impaired audience in the loop. This is less of a “trend” and more of an always-on way to ensure your brand is creating inclusivity for all consumers.
