Swifties (both stans and fans alike) are floating a playful hoax that Taylor's newly announced tour is cancelled, dangerous, or bad for children in an attempt to reserve more tickets for themselves. Ticketmaster has already fumbled the bag for those hoping to get tickets secured, so the posts have popped up in a joking attempt to scare people away from purchasing their own tickets. Jokes have ranged from statements about how horrible their time was at previous shows to fake cancellation posters.
How brands can jump in: Is your brand a Swiftie? Make a joke about concert tickets, long lines, or engage in existing fan banter to take part in this moment. Be careful of using Taylor's likeness - that can be a dangerous game. Lucky for you, there are plenty of ways to elude to your love for Miss Blondie without even saying her name!
