Gen Z's favorite colors
What it is: In recent years, Gen Z has adopted a distinct palette that has one foot in techno-nostalgia and another in the aesthetics of the current digital world. The prefer eye-popping brights, which can be seen in popular brands, like Starface and SKIMS. And many of these bright colors are digitally inspired. The Pantone Color Institute declared Viva Magenta as the color of the year, while Coloro landed on Digital Lavender, a vibrant, yet calming lilac that’s aligned with Pantone’s 2022 pick of Very Peri.
