It is a wholesome and fun trend showing people's connections to one another and how social media and other external factors play into relationships and inside jokes.

Brands can look at these bestie dictionaries and see what they are discussing in their day-to-day lives and what sort of things stick which can help inform what cultural conversations are happening. This trend shows authentic human connections and the silly things or sayings that bring people joy. These trends allow users to show their authentic selves to the public, something they crave more and more from brands.
