Snoopycore
What it is: Snoopycore is everywhere! This historic icon is becoming popular with Gen Z who have adopted him as their fall and winter symbol. This trend started when a Free People Snoopy sweatshirt went viral on TikTok. This reintroduced Snoopy into popular culture and made him relevant again with younger generations. TikTok is now flooded with Snoopy movie clips, stuffed animals, blankets and fashion. Gen Z loves anything cute and youthful (ex. Jellycats) and Snoopy is the epitome of that. Snoopy represents the nostalgic, youthfulness and coziness that Gen Z is so obsessed with.
What brands can learn: Adulting is scary therefore Gen Z loves any opportunity to experience youthfulness. There are so many ways for brands to lean into nostalgia and remind Gen Z of their childhoods, increasing relevancy and realtablity with this generation. If brands want a quick way to relate to Gen Z, they can create a meme or low lift deliverable that has similar vibes to that of the early to mid 2000s.
