the four seasons orlando baby
What it is: "I have a question for everybody. Who wants to go to the Four Seasons Orlando?" This baby, who gave a shockingly sophisticated response to the question, clearly does. Whether this baby in fact has the mind of an adult or is just super excited to visit the Four Seasons Orlando, we may never know, but her raise of a single finger and "Me" utterance has completely gripped the internet's attention. The original TikTok currently has over 33 million views, garnered thousands of comments like, "How does she know what Four Seasons Orlando is?" and caused the luxury hotel to trend on X for days thanks to a slew of memes. This baby is definitely going places, but stop number one is in Orlando 👶☝️
What brands can learn: Following the posting of this mega-viral moment, all eyes were on the Four Seasons for an official response to its biggest fan. On Monday, the company's official TikTok account posted said response with the baby's "me" audio playing to the on-screen words, "Who wants to welcome our newest ambassador to Four Seasons Orlando" and a mashup of various clips of the hotel. The post was overall received well in the comment section, but its relatively low views and engagement may be due to its lack of clear offer for the baby's family to stay at the hotel for free. The admin notably did not respond to comments asking if the free trip was offered, and the post's wording is vague enough that viewers may be unsure what the actual pay off is for bringing such visibility to the Four Seasons. Not all brands can effectively reach the levels of Stanley buying its customer a new car, but it's always important to respond to golden opportunities like this quickly and with a clear plan of action that viewers immediately understand and appreciate. That being said, brands above all need to consider how amplifying a trending conversation (especially one involving a young child) can impact both the original posters and your followers.
