Trending sounds but make them ✨text✨
What it is: Have you ever wanted to use the latest trending TikTok sound — think thank your man or talk about girl math? Did you have to play it safe and not get to post the sound on the brand account (🥲)? If so, creating a text version of your fave sound could be another way in. Brands and users alike are increasingly giving another life to TikTok sounds by turning them into copy on platforms like X. Why? It's a super easy and tailored way to speak to the latest internet joke, and it avoids using audio that belongs to someone else. Win-win!
What brands can learn: If your fans are likely to recognize the latest trending TikTok sound, there's a good chance an X post or Instagram caption with the same reference will also receive a nod of appreciation. If your brand can't post the "talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular" Lady Gaga sound, for example, turn it into a caption to describe a stunning image of your latest product. This cross-platform fun is likely the easiest thing you can post today — and potentially the most amusing for your audience.
