A brief overview of what is currently trending on on X in news, culture, and/or trending hashtags and formats.
Fat Tuesday: Celebrations are taking place prior to Lent commencing.
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day: People are discussing their excitement (or dread) for tomorrow's holiday.
Act iii: Fans are speculating what the genre of Beyoncé's next album will be, following the announcement of her upcoming country album.

A deeper dive into a subject that is impacting culture on a macro level, beyond just the social space.
Yearning

What it is: We're yearning! And longing! And pining! And...imagining what could be. X and TikTok users are laying out exactly what they wish could become reality, what they desperately want their life to look like. This is all being done in a playful, dreamy way, and "yearn" is simply the latest word being used en masse by social users to dismiss their current realities and escape to a more comfortable moment in their minds. It's creativity central in terms of subjects and themes – the yearning possibilities are endless.
What brands can learn: We're all yearning for something, and people are being fiercely open right now about what that means for them. Netflix, for example, left their fans wanting more by posting a photo of two characters who are clearly yearning for one another. Uploading a tantalizing video of your product or creating a text-only "yearning for..." post will likely get the job done for your fans who were born to yearn. Just remember to keep it simple, not too serious and truly yearn-worthy.
