Date Me Docs
What it is: With dating apps becoming increasingly filled with AI and uninteresting answers, the internet has turned to 'date me docs' to replace online dating. A 'Date Me Doc' usually consists of a resume-like collation of your interests, what you're looking for in a partner as well as anything else your potential partner may want to know about you. While dating apps are still a huge part of dating in 2023, date-me-docs are perceived to cut through the wasted time younger generations feel they spend on dating apps. TikTok users have gone one step further with dating application forms, including multiple choice surveys that give others the chance to shoot their shot
What brands can learn: Date Me Docs highlight the fast-paced nature of the world as well as the desire for true connection in a growingly distant world. Users continue to look to social media for connections with their peers and are leaving dating apps behind as they aren't finding what they're looking for. Brands can leverage date-me-docs in a humorous way should it fit your brand’s TOV; but the key learning is a reminder that human connection and the desire to create and maintain relationships remains at our audience’s core.
