Cozy Cardio
What it is: Cozy Cardio is taking over TikTok as the latest workout trend Gen Z is obsessed with. The trend focuses on low-impact workouts that allow you to also prioritize your mental health and joy while still moving your body. Users are taking to TikTok to share how they practice their own versions of the exercise, with some setting the mood by lighting candles, others walking on a treadmill with their bathroom robes on while reading a book, and others dancing in the middle of their bedrooms. The term “cozy cardio” was coined by influencer Hope Zuckerbrow.
What brands can learn: Trends like “Cozy Cardio” are the perfect example on how Gen Z continues to prioritize mental health and joy while still getting things done. Unlike other generations who grew up with the belief of “either or,” Gen Z focuses on adapting things to their lifestyle instead of adapting their lifestyle to those things, especially if they don't create happiness or help their mental health.
