She's 26: It wouldn't be the internet without a weird trend on X. Chris Evans & wife Alba Baptista are the focus after Vogue Taiwan posted a TikTok claiming she was 16 years old. Users are chiming in on this while others are making this phrase their own.
Happy 313: March 13, otherwise known as "313 Day" after Detroit's area code, has returned once again. Detroit natives can expect their favorite teams to celebrate big and to find fun deals around the city.

You may be old, but are you this OLD???
What it is: Users on X are leaning into nostalgia to test who's truly "old" according to their pop culture knowledge & media consumption. Think antiquated iPhone games, cartoons, machines... even outdated team logos, technological interfaces, and of the time instructions. The original tweet has sparked memories of an easier bygone era among elder Gen Z who remembers the decade prior as one marked by less complicated, all consuming tech; a time where phones were purely for play. Many of these tweets point to niche experiences as millennials have no clue what many of these references are. The good news? Those who know, know. Unfortunately, today's kids wont.
What brands can learn: Brands, consumers can't help but look to the past when it feels like the world is on fire. From climate disasters to political unrest, many find solace in what was rather than acknowledging the (at times) bleakness of what is. Nostalgia is nothing necessarily new, as all generations find zeal for what they once loved. Some knock nostalgia given that nothing in culture these days is "new." It, too, has been dismissed by critics as antithetical to progress. However, on social, it's a larger trend that we continue to see success with as it unequivocally resonates. What else? A growing body of research claims nostalgia is good for you as it helps people resolve their dissatisfaction while encouraging feelings of hope. It's more about envisioning the future rather than longing for the past. So brands, lean into what once was. Your fans will appreciate it.
