Are you f**king stupid?
What it is: Text based prompts using evergreen language are constantly being paired with memes, IP, or absurd imagery. This one takes on the general "babygirl" personality that's hot with Gen Z right now. Sometimes we're all being idiots and it doesn't have to be that serious. We've all felt dumb in a moment, so let's embrace the laugh. It's a simple him/me type tweet. The me is where you drop your funniest image (IP related, deep cuts, dumb characters, silly animals.)
What brands can learn: This leans into a trend we're seeing with younger generations of embracing our own fallibility, flaws, and issues. By making fun of ourselves we take the power back from those who want to position us as just dumb or inept. We're finding social users are really into self-owns as trends to create a sense of authenticity and relatability. Not only does the general trend of calling yourself stupid do this, but also the usage of particular IP that may connect directly with specific fandoms also fuels community for online stans.
