What It Is: We bring the boom! A phrase that you may be all too familiar with now thanks to influencers Big AJ and Big Justice. First gaining traction with their viral "We're Costco Guys" video, this father and son duo is once again taken over the FYP by storm. Since their first instance of TikTok fame, they've kept their nose to the grindstone releasing viral video after viral video including, "We Bring The BOOM!" featuring their entire family. More recently they released a massive streak of collaborations with streamers and influencers, like The Rizzler. They are quite literally EVERYWHERE!
Brand Takeaway: This case illustrates the power of unexpected collaborations, and how they grow and evolve content. We've seen millions of people find their two seconds of fame on apps like TikTok, however not all of them can capitalize off of this. This cycle has been avoided by Big Justice and Big AJ because they've continued to appear in places you'd never expect to see them, making each collaboration more unexpected than the last. By finding entry points into niche fandoms the influencers themselves cotinue to grow their own community. Brands can take a note from this duo when it comes to always showing up where they're least expected. This can be through collaborations like Big Justice and Big AJ participate in or simply by popping in surprising comment sections where no one expects your brand to be.
